Introduction
What AI Review Sensor does, and what it takes to get your first reply out the door.
What AI Review Sensor does
Reviews land in App Store Connect, the Play Console and your Google Business Profile. Three consoles, three logins, three reply boxes, with Facebook, Instagram and TikTok still to come.
Nobody opens all three every morning. So replies go out late, or only for the reviews that stung.
AI Review Sensor reads all of those into one inbox, drafts a reply for each review in your brand voice, and then does whatever you told it to do with that draft: hold it for a human, or send it.
Three things are worth knowing up front:
- It reads and posts through the platforms' own APIs. Nothing scrapes, nothing logs in as you.
- Reviews in other languages are translated on arrival, so you read them in yours.
- Nothing is posted publicly until you have switched auto-send on for that app. Until then every draft waits for you.
How it works
Every review takes the same four steps.
- Sync. Once a platform is connected, we check it for new reviews roughly every 30 minutes. You can also press sync yourself.
- Read. Each review is classified in one pass: sentiment, urgency, language, intent, spam and abuse signals, plus the keywords it mentions. Non-English reviews are translated at the same time.
- Draft. If AI Drafts is on, a reply is written against your brand voice profile and the specific review, not a template with the reviewer's name pasted in.
- Decide. The draft either waits in your inbox or, if it clears every auto-send rule you set, posts to the platform.
Steps 1 to 3 run whether or not you ever turn on automation. Plenty of teams stay on drafts-only for months and just approve.
What you need before you start
- An AI Review Sensor account.
- Admin or owner access on whatever you want to connect. You cannot grant access you do not have.
- About fifteen minutes for the first platform, less for the rest.
One honest warning: the Apple App Store is the fiddly one. It is the only platform that does not do a sign-in. You create an App Store Connect API key and upload the .p8 file yourself. The wizard walks through it and it is a one-time job, but set aside a coffee for it. Everything else is a sign-in and a picker.
What it is not
Worth being clear, because review tools have a reputation to live down.
- It does not buy, generate, or solicit fake reviews.
- It does not filter who gets asked to leave one. No review gating.
- It cannot delete a real review. Nobody can. Reporting a review as spam sends it to the platform, and the platform decides.
- It does not promise a ranking. Replying to reviews is a signal you control; what any store does with that signal is up to the store.
What you get is every review answered, in your voice, without anyone staying up for it.
